I will be fishing the hex hatch next week with spentwing, mickey, and northern outdoorsman. I have never done this in my life and have a reel I got out of a package and a Martin rod that I believe is either a 5 or 6 weight. When I go fishing I usually just use a leader attached to the mainline for bass fishing, crappie fishing, ect but unfor. now I have to graduate. I know for a fact I can't buy a reel right now so I will just have to figure out a way to palm the reel or something but also what fly line do I need to buy. I would like something that I can fish the surface and also fish below the surface if this exist. Heck, I don't even know what questions to ask so any help would be very much appreciated...Hoping to leave tomarrow sometime so reply is advance would be also appreciated.
