So I have putting of reporting for awhile...sorry. Life has been great up here the past few weeks and many fish are swimming around with sore mouths. My hunting season has started and I shot my bow off my friends roof for a hour in a half the other day and I am now ready to murder some bambies. My suitemate, isaac and I, spent most of friday night in the woods where we took a wrong turned and walked majorly out of our way...oops

So since my last report the fish have came in....full force. The little creek filled up and enticing the kings to hit was no problem. Granted, a few fish were lined but I had a ton of fish trying to rip the rod right out of my hand. Spawn and glo eggs were my best bet and casting below the salmon on the surface turned up the most biters. Many other people came by in the days I was there and all they could do was foul hook them. After several questions I explained to them they had to wait for the bite and not set the hook into the first bump. Last wednesday and thursday I hooked and landed many fish. No one will believe me if I told them how many fish I landed so I will just say I had a 80% landing ratio. However, my highlight of my night was taking Mike, a rookie, out for his first salmon. The first fish I hooked I gave him and he got it all the way to the shore. When I went to grab the fish I hit the line with my pinky and it broke the line??? Combat fishing was in full force and I gave up after loosing my stuff several times. Mike was having a hard time casting so I made a few cast and he had a fish on with his 6 foot rod. At first I thought the fish was fouled hooked but after a 15-20 minute fight I netted a 12 lb female for mike. He is now hooked and ruined. In the hour of fishing between unhooking line and tying knew knots I think we fished for 20 minutes and I hooked 3 fish on orange and chartruse eggs. I saw Mike today dropping a class. I wonder if he is doing that for some fishing time...jk mike. I will try and get his pic up later.

Anways, here are some of the pics from the past fall.

My limit that I gave to a guy that needed some fish. I couldn't keep any fish but this guy needed some so I gave him mine. I was waiting til tomarrow to get some fish for mself.

Then I landed the biggest salmon of my life. She was short but man was she FAT!!!

That was wednesday awsome day of fishing. Here are thursday trip!

All in all it has been a blast fishing all over michigan. I went out monday mourning right after work and went 3 for 5. Lost a small silver chromer thanks to some lady line tangled in my line. That's about all...I think I may put a few more days of fishing salmon in but I am ready for some deer and great lakes trout.

Hope everyone is having a great fall so far...cya
