Yesterday all you could see is ice all the way to the horizon. Its started hope it holds now. Surely not think enough to venture out very far but its a start.

Keep us posted on the ice fishing on the bay .
 Have a buddy that keeps talking about going up for a weekend to get some eyes through the ice and have never done any ice fishin . Interested in giving it a try .  Hope he has heaters in the shanty's .  He said February usually is the best time ???? KnifesEdge

Ice started then of course got busted up. The ice is not as far out now as it was and might get worse by the end of the week. Course we don't know for sure. We have to have some very good ice to get out far enough to get walleyes. I will surely keep you posted. Your more than welcome to email me any time if I forget to post. ha When it gets thick enough I am on it!

I CAN'T WAIT! WILL BE MY FIRST TIME HOPEFULLY BEGINING OF FEB. ON SAG BAY. STILL LOOKING FOR SOME INFO TO CATCH THE EYES. I HAVE PROBABLY 5 GUYS WILLING TO GO UP JUST NEED TO PLAN. ANYBODY ELSE WANT TO GO GIVE A HOLLAR.

None of us can wait. It much more fun than one can imagine to go out and fish all day. Coming inat dark is something else. You look back on the bay and lights are coming from everywhere. Really pretty.

The Saginaw Bay is now ready for us hard water fisherman. A few walleye are being caught a mile and a half out of the State Park. If I can be of any help feel free to email me. skeeter185@chartermi.net

ANYBODY DOING ANYTHING ON SAG BAY? I WOULD LIKE TO MAKE A TRIP UP THERE BUT NEED SOME PRETTY GOOD REPORTS TO MAKE THE TRIP.

Am waiting right now for a couple reports. Will pass them on. Thomas Rd off M-25 has been doing pretty well lately. Plenty of ice WAY out. I am closer to the Linwood side and ice forming has been slow but have heard it is much better now. You can get out of State Park for sure 2 miles and there is a huge push forming.
