Fished out of St.Ignace on 6/10/06, Launched at the Coast Guard Launch( Not recommened at this stazge of the game anymore, they do not have the center dock in) Things started BAD..0600 Stepped out of the truck, Rolled my ankle, And after recovering from doing my best Lake Trout in a cooler imtation, got the boat off the trailer and headed for the east side of Mac. Island. Picked our first fish up(about a 25 in Laker) about 0830 on the NE side of the island on a Mag, Ultra Glow, Fishlander sthingy(Looks like a Ugly Dirty Diaper only with both ends Yellow)50 feet down off a rigger. Next fish(salmon) hit a Slide Diver set on 3.5, sthingy 40 feet off the diver and the diver 90 feet from the boat, Close to a double digit fish, lost at the back of the boat, sthingy was a North port nailer( Strange color, don't remember the name of it, Kinda Purple color with a green glow edge)Next fish came off a rigger, 40 down and a Fishlander Ultra Glow Dirty Diaper Reg. Size. that one got into a Dipsy line and snap there go's the last "Dirty Diaper" I have, that fish was a solid 10-12 pounds, Last fish for the morning came off a Slide diver(same set as above) only with a North Port "Glow Orange Tiger ruffy". Pulled the lines at 11:00 due to very ruff seas and not being able to walk anymore, Later X-Rays show a broken foot. No work for a few weeks ... Darn All the Salmon came off the south east end of the Island about 100 yards east of the red can..
