			<description><![CDATA[ I've been getting a few nice perch but not any quantities ice fishing on the lake I live on. I usually get 3-5 keepers each time out but after a couple times on the ice I've got enough for a fish fry. They are decent sized up to 13 inches. I released a pike and saw a couple nice bass in the hole this morning and kept 4 perch. The kids enjoy touching dad's fish.<br> <br><!--EZCODE IMAGE START--><img... ]]></description>

Last Wednesday I made my way back to Detroit where I would meet up with a bunch of people from another site for a Michigan-out-of-doors shoot . 			<description><![CDATA[ I only had one class wednesday and I was hoping to get into the perch good sometime this week so I could maybe take home dinner next week. After class, I asked probably 20-25 kids to go but everyone was either working or had class. My friend said I could use his ice fishing stuff anytime I wanted to I picked up and left. <br><br>After several attempts on trying to find that access, i finally did and found a parking lot with no body in it but 2 feet of snow. 			<description><![CDATA[ My buddy Jake and I fished a lake 1/2 hour from here from 11 til 3 with waxies and minnows. waxies were on tear drops and the larger perch were taken on minnows on sweedish pimples. They seemed to like both at different times and between the two of us, we caught about 2-3 dozen. Only about 7 of them were keepers and some of these were smaller then I usually like to keep but I figured I better start a perch dinner soon. 			<description><![CDATA[ I fished a number of small ponds this weekend and found 3-4 inches of good clear ice and another inch of the white stuff. The bigger lakes have been slow to freeze, but as of Sunday the local bait store reported people fishing on all of the Sister Lakes in Southwest MI. I had great luck with gills, didnt have any problem catching my limit all weekend. Good luck fishing all.....<br> ]]></description>

It also lets you know when you get a private message. For those that have their Private messaging disabled you may want to get into your control center and get it turned on. There is no spams that can go in there. Sometimes Ezboard will Email and update but that's it. Even though we put in alot of hours with little fish to show for, we still had a great time. Jared and I set up in 5 ft of water and only had a small perch to show for. About 14 or 16 fish were iced most of which were steelhead with a couple browns. Unfortunatly I didn't get any! Seems the action came in spurts and was done shortly after 10:00 am.
