The fishing this past weekend 6/4 and 6/5 was excellent, we took three man limits each day in Ohio waters casting erie dearies. Fish were picking up our baits as we lifted them off the bottom in 25 to 26 feet of water. Of course we caught and released numerous fish in the 12 to 14 inch range our keepers ran 17 to 25. Good Luck!!

Sorry for the late report but lately there just has been no time to post a report. Monday night/ tuesday mournin and tuesday night/wednesday night I met up with northern outdoorsman for a little bit of whipping on the SCR. The first trip I did decent and landed 4 walleye and lost a big guy. Don landed 3. My best lure was a orange and white stick bait and the fire tiger rapala. The fish were on the smaller side for the night. Here are the pics:
<img...

Anyone fishing from shore and having any luck yet? I know the old saying about the lilac's blooming, but I seem to get some good walleye earlier. Water temps in the mid to upper 40's seem to work the best for me. The smelt run needs to wind down too, thats when the walleye seem the best. I think it is too cold still, but just wondered if anyone has had any luck. I will be out a couple times this week to see. The steelhead fishing has been slow and I want to catch some fish!!
