Hi ,
My dad and i use to hunt snowshoes around the Fivechanel dam area,but it seem to be hunted out or something.
Does any one have any good spots they are willing to share with some fellow beaglers??
We belong to The GreatLakes Beagle Club in Otisville Mi.
And i am looking to show My son the thrill of hunting Shoes,cause that is what realy iced the cake for as a kid hunting with my "old man".

Hey folks, with the new upgrade we have a new private messaging feature. I have PMed a couple of folks here but have yet to get a responce. You may want to check your control center and see if you have any new messages. Also, while you are there, click on Inbox Preferences. I have set mine so I get an Email everytime someone sends me a private message. This way if I miss it here I will see it when I check my Emails.

7.2 up grade is here

The upgrade is complete. There are quite a few new features. Each member has a folder for keeping all their private messages in. It also lets you know when you get a private message. For those that have their Private messaging disabled you may want to get into your control center and get it turned on. There is no spams that can go in there. Sometimes Ezboard will Email and update but that's it. Anyway, check it out.

I used to hunt those nasty wabbits all the time, but haven't now for a few years. I need to get back into it a little as I always had a blast when one came jumping out. When do you usually start thinking about hunting wabbits??? With deer season on anly the diehard wabbit chasers are out I guess, but December and January should be a good time to find them.

We had our slowest opening day ever this year for Pheasant in Jackson county. 3 of us hunted all day till 3:00PM and only put up one bird which was promptly put down by my buddy John. We normally put up 6-12 birds opening day including some hens. This one rooster was it for this year. We cover productive (in years past) state land in the morning and then hit private land in the afternoon and later in the season. The bird we got came off of state land. I was up at my cousin's cabin scouting for deer and looking for some grouse and woodcock last weekend. Didn't find too much good area around Gulliver(east af Manistique). Most everything around there I could find is pine and spruce or cedar. The few birds we did find were in poplars with heavy fern cover and particularly on ridges. Does anyone know of any area near there where I can find some birds? Am planning another trip up there in 2 weeks fof birds and deer. Any help would be appreciated!
