I was up at my cousin's cabin scouting for deer and looking for some grouse and woodcock last weekend. Didn't find too much good area around Gulliver(east af Manistique). Most everything around there I could find is pine and spruce or cedar. The few birds we did find were in poplars with heavy fern cover and particularly on ridges. Does anyone know of any area near there where I can find some birds? Am planning another trip up there in 2 weeks fof birds and deer. Any help would be appreciated!
