			<title><![CDATA[ My buddy got a Jack Miner band ]]></title>

			<description><![CDATA[ We hunted a marsh in Jackson County and my hunting partner got a Jack Miner band on a hen mallard. We also took a first year hunter Ricky and he got a hen mallard. His 3rd duck this season. I got a pair of woodies. It was not a big kill but with Ricky scoring and the Jack Miner band, it was a memorable hunt. This is the first Jack Miner band we have ever seen around here. 			<title><![CDATA[ Opening day ]]></title>

			<description><![CDATA[ You know it is going to be a great opener when it starts out like this one. Ducks are flying around before shooting time. It begins, 2 are headed in and locked up for our decoys, one shot booms from each of our guns and 2 woodies hit the water. 5 minutes later, 2 more ducks are locked up and headed in, once again, 2 shots boom and 2 widgeons drop. I got a beautiful drake and I'll post a pic later. The action continued through the morning but our shooting percentage dropped. We ended up with 4... ]]></description>

			<description><![CDATA[ I didn't have real high expectations for the hunt today but we had been seeing a few geese lately in this field,,,none yesterday but the day before maybe 60 geese were in it. With the nasty weather on Thursday,,,gale force winds and near zero temps the geese didn't move much while I was scouting yesterday. The first flock I seen was quite a ways off and slippen to the left but I thought maybe the wind was pushing them a bit and still might come to us,,,but they never showed. We had 12 geese for the photo with one of the guys getting his truck for a total of 5 hunters, when one of the hunters had to leave and shot 5 more after he left for a total of 17 today. We had geese trying to land from all different directions,,,,a bunch behind us,,,,some on each side. At one time we had several hundred birds flying or landing all around us. Looks like the Mallards and other ducks are starting to show too,,,right on Q....Time to go wack a few hunters. Migrators are as dumb as rocks and very easy for the first couple days. 			<title><![CDATA[ Pics from the last 2 days ]]></title>

			<description><![CDATA[ Secondwind and I got out duck hunting yesterday and today. We doubled up on a banded drake yesterday. It was slow after that and we had a couple should have shots but didn't. Today we hunted a different spot and had a good morning. We each got a pair of drake woodies and John got a bonus black duck.
